TourEast London UpdateEast London Week at Greenwich TIC: 2nd - 6th August 2006
If you would like to participate in East London Week or to offer discounted/free product for vouchers and prizes, please fill in this form and send it back to sharon@visiteastlondon.co.uk by 26th May 2006. New Visitor Guides Work is well underway with the revised and updated visitors guide, and we expect to go to print in June. The format and content will change substantially, and will be based around the tourism clusters of: Maritime Greenwich, Deptford, ExCeL London Campus, Stratford, Docklands & Canary Wharf, Spitalfields & Brick Lane and the Pool of London. Emphasis will be on how to access the clusters, the tourism content and how to move around between them. We will be moving away from simply listing products that we know give no real ideas nor help in planning a visit for the new market segments. Len Lickorish Award Sharon Chou from TourEast London has been awarded the 2005 national Len Lickorish award for best postgraduate tourism dissertation. Sharon will be presented with her award at the Tourism Society annual dinner at Colwick Hall, Nottingham on 15th June 2006. |
